From the moment I heard about Ceci’s new venture until the “Land Fair” conference for Maine land-conservation organizations was little more than three weeks—a tight deadline, but it was the ideal place to launch and promote her business. In short order, we designed a logo, rack cards, and display panels for her booth at the show.

She is now off and running, organizing events like the Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s annual Saltwater Shindig. I volunteered and shot some photos for her use. She coordinated the efforts of dozens of staff and volunteers as well as Maine Beer Company, Big Tree Catering, and Seaspray Kayaking/Paddle Maine. It was a beautiful sunny day on the Goslings—two little islands that connect with a sand bar at low tide, just long enough for nearly 100 people to sit down for a lobster dinner.
